Fundraising for Local Children

Bailey Hartel, Vice President and Relationship Banker in CNB's Hattiesburg market, grew up in the Hattiesburg area and believes it is important to give back to the local community as much as possible. Recently, Bailey organized the 11th annual Wainwright Invitational Golf Tournament at Pine Creek Golf Course in Purvis, MS. Bailey founded this local fundraiser in 2012 and all of the proceeds go to fund the purchase of backpacks, shoes, clothes, and other back to school supplies for local students in need. This year the tournament raised over $9,400 and benefited 33 underprivileged children in Lamar and Forrest County.

A former member of USM's Baseball Team, Bailey continues to serve on the Board of the University's M Club.

In addition to the Bank sponsoring a hole in the golf tournament, Chief Sales Officer Kevin Brewer and CNB Mortgage Originator Tyler Ladd played in the tournament as well.
