Bridging the Gap

CNB’s DeSoto County team had a great time participating in a recent 2-day career expo for all of the 10th Graders in DeSoto County. The “Bridging the Gap: DeSoto Career Expo” was held October 17 and 18 at the Landers Center in Southaven and sponsored by the DeSoto County Economic Council. Our CNB bankers took part in fun activities where we helped the students learn to balance their budget while allowing for such expenses as their monthly mortgage payment, insurance, groceries, etc. Students also enjoyed hands-on activities at many other booths relating to future career options and visited with our Bank in the Finance section of the Expo. Over 3,000 students attended the event, and we were very excited to visit with each of these students and help pave the way for their future success.
