Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry

The Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act) established the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS). Employees involved in certain aspects of residential mortgage loans are required to register with the NMLS.
