Addison Lawrence Promoted

DeSoto County – Hampton Thames, CEO and President of Citizens National Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Addison Lawrence to DeSoto Regional President. With more than a decade of experience in banking and a strong track record of leadership, Addison is well-positioned to guide Citizens National Bank's continued growth and service in the region.

Addison has served as Market President in DeSoto County since 2018, helping strengthen relationships and expand the bank's presence throughout North Mississippi. Addison demonstrates his commitment to relationship banking and community service by actively investing in the people and businesses he serves.

"Addison is a dynamic leader who leads with integrity and builds strong connections everywhere he goes," said Hampton Thames. "He represents the best of community banking—someone who understands our customers' financial needs and works daily to help them succeed. We're proud to have him lead our efforts in DeSoto County."

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, and Financial Planning, and a Master's degree in Workforce Educational Leadership—both from Mississippi State University where he also played football for the Bulldogs before signing with the Baltimore Ravens.

He is also a graduate of the Southeastern School of Commercial Lending and the Mississippi School of Banking where he was elected President of his class.

Addison actively engages with the DeSoto County community beyond his role at the bank. He is a member of the Southaven Chamber of Commerce, Olive Branch Chamber of Commerce, Southaven Young Professionals, The Krewe of Hernando, and Compel Church in Hernando. He also coaches two youth teams each year in the DeSoto Football & Cheer League and is a former board member of the DeSoto County Economic Development Foundation.

In his new role, Addison will oversee all banking operations in the DeSoto Region while continuing to provide personalized service and strategic support to customers and businesses throughout the region.
